In this study, we will briefly discuss the life of Abû Hayyân al-Andalusi, his scientific education, his teachers, his students, his works and his trial with philosophy as a commentator. Our aim is to see the effect of the education that the author received on the formation of his scientific personality and the environment he grew up in, and to reveal the effects of these on the shaping of his culture. Our aim is to reveal the perspective of the researcher on positive sciences, especially his approach to philosophy. In addition, the aim of this research is to determine the place of positive sciences among Islamic sciences in the Andalusia region at that time, based on the person of Abu Hayyân.
