The Relationship Between Mental Health and Religiosity

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the current situation of university youth by examining the variables and religiosity levels of university youth after the pandemic process. The study data revealed that after the pandemic process, university students had a high level of loneliness (29%), severe depressive symptoms (31%), severe anxiety disorder (27%), and severe stress disorder (16%). n terms of gender, the anxiety level of men was found to be higher than that of women in the evaluation of mental health. According to the findings of the research; level of religiosity is a negative predictor of depression, anxiety, loneliness and stress levels. All these data support that religiosity may be a protective factor for mental health.
