Three semi-structured questions were asked of 15 police officers who voluntarily participated in the study. The data were evaluated by descriptive analysis and content analysis. According to the finding obtained from the research; participants have experienced negative emotions related to the pandemic, such as stress and anxiety. Helping behavior made one feel peace, confidence, power, a sense of control, empathy, and motivation. Based on the findings of this research it is thought that the positive effects of helping others in the pandemic process on mental health may be valid in similar crisis situations and it is our basic suggestion that society should be informed about the scope of helping behavior.
