Natural gas storage obligation is a regulation that generally obliges energy suppliers to store a certain amount of natural gas, and the main purpose of this obligation is to respond quickly to increases in demand as well as emergencies, to ensure security of supply and to maintain stability in energy markets and accessibility also brings with it the existence of a liberal natural gas market. Effective implementation of the regulations regarding natural gas storage obligation, constant review and harmonious updating of these regulations are of great importance in terms of adapting to the changing conditions in the energy sector.
