Ibn Haldun, who made the ethic, economy and philosophy the topic of philosophy, is not a classical philosopher. Ibn Haldun’s ideas has been very effective in the tradition of Turk and Islamic philosophy. This study examined socio-economic transformation of Turkic world with the emphasis in social and cultural dimensions. The internal and external social dynamics are discussed for the transformation process in light of Ibn Haldun’s ideas.Downloads
