As one of the most prominent Islamic-Arab thinkers, Ibn Khaldun’s views are related many areas ranging from general education to curriculum to instruction to qualifications of teachers and child education. In this regard, the educational ideas of Ibn Khaldun were investigated in the context of “Clash of Civilizations” which is proposed by Samuel Huntington indicating that the international relations in this age will be highly affected by civilizations rather than political or economic ideologies since the 1990s, which corresponded to the post-Cold War period. The study is a qualitative study based on document analysis. In this study, Ibn Khaldun’s views on education in the context of clash of civilizations are discussed because education is very close concept with civilization according to Ibn Khaldun’s ideas.Downloads
